EnviroForest Ltd. Waste Management Services

Our services extend to a number of different areas under the broad umbrella of Waste Management and Recycling, as shown below.  For further information about the solutions EnviroForest can provide, or to discuss your specific situation regarding waste removal, please visit our contact page.

• Collection and processing of dry recyclates such as paper, cardboard, plastics and metals.

We are able to process your dry waste materials efficiently, reducing the amount that goes to landfill, and saving you money.  We can also issue your company with Waste Transfer Notes.

Our facility on Newtown's Mochdre Industrial Estate has a processing capacity of 3000 tonnes of card per week, plus 100 tonnes of plastic.

• The design and construction of DEFRA-accredited in-vessel composting systems.

EnviroForest Director Graham Owen is the founder of a South-Wales based composting company, and was responsible for the design of the environmentally enclosed composting systems used by that company and its clients.

The composting systems designed by EnviroForest are capable of throughput from 5,000 tonnes per annum to 100,000 tonnes per annum, far exceeding the capability of other systems (such as the Hot Rod) and with lower setup and maintenance costs.  For instance, a system installed by us for a recent client is able to process 10,000 tons of material per annum.  The entire system was set up for less than half the amount required to install an equivalent capacity Hot Rod system.

• Recycling of on-farm waste (silage sheets/bags, cardboard, feed bags etc.), including cleaning using the EnviroForest Farm Plastics Washing Unit.

Recycling of waste generated by the agriculture industry can be a real problem. EnviroForest's patent pending systems for cleaning and recycling bulky and difficult to handle items such as silage sheets simplify the process.

• Eradication of giant hogweed and Japanese knotweed, using methods unique to EnviroForest.

Giant hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum) and Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) continue to cause problems wherever they grow. Both are covered by the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, and require special precautions when being removed.

We have developed systems and procedures to tackle them quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively, and through an Environment Agency Exemption 30, are able to work within the regulations to eradicate these weeds.

• Consultation on Waste Management strategies.

With our experience within the waste management sector, we can assess the effectiveness of your current waste disposal and recycling policies, and advise on improvement strategies.
